I have had a love of nature since childhood and grew up in a home where flowers and vegetables were abundant. Wholesome food and a respect for the natural world were the bedrock of my upbringing.
Fast forward many years and these same principles applied when I started my own family. We spent most of our spare time outside foraging, gardening, listening to and observing nature and I began treating my children with natural remedies. I witnessed first hand the power of plants and for many years I wanted to train as a medical herbalist. I did a one-year course with New Vitality Tuition to get me to foundation level but I never gave up my dream to become a qualified practitioner and I finally enrolled on the four year diploma course with Betonica School of Herbal Medicine in 2021.
In 2025, my qualification was awarded to me and I became a member of the professional governing body, The National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH). I abide by their ethics and their code of practice and I am fully insured. I now run my practice from consulting rooms in Wantage.
